Growing up our family gathered each night around our dining table to eat dinner. Many triumphs, laughs, and temporary setbacks were shared at that table. Meals weren't fancy or complicated.
My mom, a granddaughter of a farmer, prepared meals as she was taught. Food was seasonal, showcasing local fruits and vegetables; flavors were always at their peak. At my table, meals are prepared the same.
Now I'm excited to announce that I'll be hosting a family dinner around a real dining table, and you're invited! Seats are limited to the size of our dining room table; a total of 10 guests including my husband and me.
